Where I was a year ago.

Sitting at a cafe at the Plaza del Castillo in Pamplona Spain.

It does not feel like I was in Pamplona a year ago. I can still remember the sounds of people meeting friends for a con leche. As I sat with my own cafe con leche enjoying a slight breeze in the air, I notice this little man walking by. As he made his way to his bench, carrying a very large bag that looked quite happy, he had a sly little grin on his face. Hmmm what is he up too. I go back to my sketching and painting. Then slowly I began to her music as if its floating on the air currents. I was surrounded by the chit chat of people, the clink of cups on saucers, old buildings, and the little ole man with his sly grin gifting the plaza with his accordion music; I began to realize this is an everyday occurrence for the people of Pamplona. What a sweet Camino blessing to have experienced this Pamplona magic.

I find that as I think back on my time on the Camino one of the key memories is finding ART everyday wherever I went. Art in all its forms. Person and Nature.
